Dr. Scanlon is a very compassionate doctor who really cares about her patients. She does a very thorough exam to make sure that she’s not missing something, and takes the time to listen to all your concerns. She’s very good at explaining her findings, and at explaining why she recommends specific diagnostics and treatments. Your pet is in excellent hands!

When I brought my cat Sasha to her it was for a general checkup. She was able to identify a resorptive lesion in one of her teeth and mentioned that it wasn't an immediate concern but something to look out for. She gave me all the options of things that I can do and what to look out for. When Sasha's labs came back, she took the time IN DETAIL to explain what everything meant & how it affected Sasha - unlike other vets who may have just said ‘Everything looks normal.’  Dr. Scanlon is so detailed and cares so much about her patients and their owners.

Dr. Scanlon is wonderful.  Her caring attitude towards animals is amazing. She goes above and beyond to make sure all bases are covered and fully explains everything to you as the owner in terms you can understand. She has never suggested unnecessary testing/procedures for extra money like so many other vets tend to do. She is very kind and patient with my dogs, takes her time with exams and doesn’t rush you out the door.  I would 100% recommend her!

I had two Great Danes, Lana and Casandra. Casandra became seriously ill and had to have an emergency visit to Dr. Stacey Scanlon.  Although Casandra was severely ill before I brought her to see Dr. Stacey, she gave her utmost care with compassion for her needs.  Lana shortly later developed some issues and Dr. Stacey evaluated her on her day off with the assistance of her mom.  Under Dr. Stacey’s care, Lana’s health greatly improved and she went on to live a long life. I would recommend that if you have a pet to have them cared for by Dr. Stacey.

I have been following Dr. Scanlon for a number of years she is well known across the nation for her love of animals and expert care.  She always takes her time with me and answers all my questions. She's also very thorough along with compassionate and caring.  I highly recommend Dr. Scanlon for all your fur babies needs—you won’t be disappointed.

Dr. Scanlon is an incredible veterinarian. We trust her with the care of our two beloved rescues: one cat and one dog. When our cat entered into her “senior years”, Dr. Scanlon worked with us to develop a diet best suited for her age and needs. Our dog required multiple tests and office visits in her first two years of life in order to help her achieve optimal health. Dr. Scanlon was not only patient - but also kind in her approach, making sure we understood all test results and options. This is true for her care of both of our “fur babies”. She is detail-oriented, considerate, and meticulous in her follow up. We highly recommend Sunflower Veterinary Center, and can attest to the quality of care provided under Dr. Scanlon.

Dr. Stacey has taken care of our four cats and two dogs for years. We love her, but more importantly, our pets do! She is so knowledgeable about routine and emergency situations and is always kind, compassionate, and gentle with them—even our ‘spicy taco cat’, Mocha, who doesn’t generally like to be held, responds so well to Dr  Scanlon! They are never stressed to see her during a visit.  Even though we moved out of the area, I have called her for a second opinion, or to confirm proper treatment because I trust her judgment. She is always willing to help make sure that our fur babies get the best care possible! If we ever return to the area, we will not hesitate to use her services again. She’s the best!

I’ve known Stacey for quite sometime. She’s always very kind, helpful, and quick to lend a hand to someone in need. She’s well informed and always has interesting insights to share. She’s a highly motivated individual and I’m impressed by her work ethic. I’m looking forward to her opening her veterinarian practice. I think she’s going to be a real asset to the community.
